Florida Keys Reel Adventures is led by Capt. Kevin Johnsen, a licensed USCG Master Captain and a 40-year resident of Marathon. Capt. Kevin grew up on these local waters, which created a lifelong bond with the ocean that he now shares with every guest. His mission is to reveal the true magic of the Middle Keys through immersive, hands-on experiences. Whether the goal is fishing, spearfishing, snorkeling, or lobstering, he designs every trip to be an unforgettable and highly interactive adventure.
With decades of experience doing everything from commercial fishing to guiding local tours, Capt. Kevin knows how to build a trip around exactly what you want to do. He specializes in custom adventures for people who want something a little outside the box.

To guarantee maximum comfort and personalized attention, Kevin strictly limits every excursion to a maximum of 6 passengers. This “no exceptions” policy ensures that everyone on board enjoys ample space, superior storage, and premium amenities.
